Reuse Tips

• Reuse metal hangers instead of purchasing new hangers.
• Plastic hangers cannot be recycled, but some charities will accept either metal or plastic usable hangers for reuse.

Item Accepted As: Recycling

No Fee

Metal hangers, with all paper removed, are accepted at the drop-off facilities as scrap metal.

Many dry cleaners also accepted metal hangers for recycling.

Plastic hangers

Plastic hangers are not recyclable. Dispose of them in your household trash.
