Call your city for local disposal (burial) ordinance guidelines. Cremation services & cemeteries are other options.

Road Kill

Call the road authority that has immediate responsibility

             •  MnDOT on interstate, U.S. and state hwys
             •  County highway department on county roads
             •  local (city/township) road authorities on lesser roads and streets.

Deer Carcasses

Remains of carcasses are not accepted as solid waste at our facilities.  MPCA has designated the following landfills in the metro area as appropriate disposal facilities:

Wildlife

 If you have a dead wild animal on your property, call your city’s animal control unit for instructions or assistance on proper disposal.
