Containers must be 5 gallons or less in size and labeled.

Automotive fluids are accepted as Household Hazardous Waste due to flammability and toxicity.

Note: It is illegal to put motor oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid or motor oil filters in the garbage, on the land, in water, down a sewer or in the storm drain, per MN Statute 115A.916.
