OUR FACILITIES ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS, MONDAYS and HOLIDAYS.

- We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards, and cash or check for those items with fees.
- Materials accepted at the facilities must be from households only.
- Proof of residency must be presented (a Minnesota drivers license or current utility bill).
- The Brooklyn Park recycling area is self-serve. Residents are responsible for unloading their own vehicle. Please ask for unloading assistance only for heavy items.
- The Brooklyn Park household hazardous waste area is full-service. Vehicles will be unloaded for residents.
- The Bloomington site is a full-service facility. Vehicles will be unloaded for residents.
- Materials are accepted from residents of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington counties only. Residents from Scott*, Sherburne and Wright counties are not eligible to use our drop-off facilities. (*effective July 1, 2009)
- Household hazardous waste must be in containers of five-gallons or less, and content properly labeled.
- All waste fees include applicable state and county taxes or surcharges.
- This service should not replace curbside pick up of trash.
- Hennepin County reserves the right to recover materials from the waste it receives for reuse or recycling.
