Not Accepted At Hennepin County Facilities.

Plastic bottle caps are not accepted at the drop-off facilities. For recycling options, check with your recycling hauler, city recycling coordinator, or look for drop-off opportunities.

Recycling options

There are several local recycling opportunities for plastic bottle caps:

• Plastic bottle caps are accepted through the Recycle Caps with Aveda program at any Aveda Store or Aveda Salon.
• Preserve's Gimme5 recycling program accepted plastic bottle caps if they are stamped with a #5 plastic resin code.
• Some haulers now accepted plastic bottle caps if they are left on the bottle in curbside recycling programs. Contact your recycling hauler or city recycling coordinator for informaion about materials accepted in your recycling program.
