A-Z How To Get Rid Of It Guide

Gas Cylinders and Tanks (Pressurized-20 pound size)

Includes: Helium, Helium Tank, Propane (20-pound size) Scuba Tank

Not Accepted At Hennepin County Facilities.

Note: Do not throw tanks or cylinders in the trash and do not attempt to puncture the cylinder.

Cylinders that seem empty still contain a small amount of residual gas. The cylinder design makes safe collection of any residual gas difficult, and venting the gases to open air will often create a fire hazard or contribute to air quality problems.
