Rethink & Reduce Tips

• When ordering from a catalog, be sure you tell them not to sell or use your name for any other purpose.
• To cancel a catalog you do not wish to receive, call their  1-800 number or fill out a form on their web site to quickly and easily remove your name from their mailing list.
• If you still want to receive certain publications from a company, you can request that they limit the number of catalogs they send you.

Reuse Tips

• Courage Center pickup will take National Geographic magazines. www.couragepickup.org or 952-881-1100.

• Think about how many magazines you really read, and consider purchasing an online subscription instead.

No Fee

Magazines and catalogs are accepted for recycling at both facilities. Magazines and catalogs are also accepted in curbside recycling programs.

Reuse

Magazines and catalogs can be reused by passing along to friends, neighbors, or sharing with co-workers. Check a local school to see if they need some for art projects, or check a local book store if the magazines are specific to a certain hobby or trade.

Recycle

Magazines and catalogs are accepted for recycling. They are also collected in your curbside recycling program.

All plastic wrap,  DVDs and other non-paper sample/promotional items should be removed.

Please place soiled paper in your household trash.
